Mel is very involved in the business doing all the finances, logistics and the general running of Mokore and has done so for the last fifteen years.
Email: mokorejay@gmail.com Jaimie is the Mokore Ranch Manager, who has been part of the Mokore family since mid 2018. Jay has a background in hospitality; having studied at the International Hotel School in South Africa. Her longing for the Zimbabwean bush returned her home to pursue her career in the hospitality industry where she worked in Hwange National Park for 4 years before joining us at Mokore. Jay not only runs our Mokore camps, but is also the face behind all of your safari logistics as she handles all of our bookings for both local and international clients. If you ever need to find Jay; look for the trail of dogs who are always close on her tail!.
Jed is our Mokore Apprentice and Junior Manager, who has been with us since January 2022. Jed grew up in Victoria Falls and spent his days out in the bush. He left Falcon College in 2019 and then spent the next 2 years working in construction in England, where he gained an electrical diploma. Jed spends his days out and about on the ranch checking on all the water-points, at the workshop and doing anti-poaching. When all his daily tasks are done you will be sure to find him on the back of one of the hunting vehicles headed out to gain experience.
